Cementless Ribbeck Stem

Cementless Ribbeck Stem

The Ribbeck hip stem is a cementless straight stem prosthesis from Ti6Al7Nb (ISO 5832-11) with a proximal anchoring principle. A total of 13 finely coordinated sizes with a CCD angle of 135° are available.

The neck and shoulder are dulled with glass bearings. Proximally, the stem is raw blasted with stainless steel corundum. The distal stem area is polished. The dual-conical stem design proven effective over many decades and the ventral and dorsal ribs ensure secure and rotation-stable anchoring. Optimum in-growth and a natural transfer of force are achieved in the bones due to the sharp-edges ribs.

Alternatively the Ribbeck stem is available with a Hydroxylapatit-coating for an increased bio-compatibility.
